黒胡桃の木からです。直径17センチくらいで、葡萄種油を塗ってあります。 前の木工旋盤を売ったのですが、其の買い手からもらいました。湿った木なのですが、回してる間に形がどんどん 変わるので大変でした。

from wet black walnut tree. finished with grape seed oil. about 7 inch diameter. The shape changed while I was turning and I had a very har time finishing it.

街路樹の桜からです。直径15センチくらいで、葡萄の種油を塗ってあります。 大きなのを木取りした後の残りものからです。

From the city cherry tree. about 6 inch diameter. I could find numerous small pieces after I cut out major pieces from the cherry. Finished with grape seed oil.

家の前の街路樹の桜です。直径33センチ程ですが、大きいです。今までので最大。有名なウッドターナーが30センチ以下の作品が90％かそれ以上を占めると言う 意味が分かりました。何も塗っていません。
