今年の桜は道具を錆びさせないようなことを言いましたが取り消します。
伐った当初のより雨のせいで更に湿った為かと思います。

I said this year's cherry was less corrosive than last year's.
I changed my mind.  I think because of the wood is wetter than when it was felled. because of
rainy weather.
